Truck Town Thunder

January 14, 2014

Todd Szott,

On behalf of Truck Town Thunder (T3), I would like to thank you for partnering with the T3 team. Your generous support of our organization will be used to assist the team with procuring parts to build the team's robot for the 2014 competition, as well as helping with traveling expenses for the team to attend the competitions.

Every year, FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) provides a competition for high school students. T3 students and their mentors design and build a robot to compete with other high school teams. T3 is scheduled to compete in two competitions this year. One at Great Lakes Bay Region Competition in Midland, MI on March 20, 2014 and the Bedford Competition in Temperance, MI on April 8, 2014. If the team is successful, like last year, we will also compete in the state championship in Ypsilanti and the World Championship in St. Louis, MO in April.

Thank you again for your commitment to Truck Town Thunder in providing a hands-on opportunity for team members to further their education in science, technology, engineering, and math.

Sincerely,

Andrew Spiece

Rush Regatta - Team 27

Thank You Szott Ford,

Thank you so much for your contribution to our Team RUSH Regatta this year. Without your dedicated contribution, our sponsorship goal would not have been met. With your help, our Regatta team raised over $1,600, which means we can travel out-of-state for a competition! Thanks to your contribution, many students are very happy.

On July 28th, our team survived all three rounds of heavy competition. Although our boat did not fare too well in the speed category, the fleet of the S.S. Mother Duck took a close 2nd place in the theme category. Despite only placing 5th at the regatta, our team had a blast the whole day, happy that we give it 100%.

Szott Ford and Local Community Raises $3,380.00 for Holly High School

Szott Ford and Local Community Raises $3,380.00 for Holly High School

Innovative test-drive event yields much-needed money for

Holly High School Football Program

Holly, Michigan ? Szott Ford, Holly High School and members of the local community raised $3,380.00 for Holly High School's Football Program at a recent test-drive event, as part of Ford Motor Company's Drive One 4 UR School program. For each of the 169 test drives, Holly-area residents who test drove a Ford vehicle at Holly High School last Friday, September  9th, Ford Motor Company donated $20, with funds going towards the Holly High School Football Program.

Since the program's inception in 2007, Drive One 4 UR School has offered 275,000 test-drives at more than 1,500 events to generate over $5 million for high schools nationwide. The money raised during the Drive One 4 UR School program has helped ensure that extracurricular activities, like sports and music programs, continue in local communities.

"We are thrilled that so many people from the local community turned out to support Holly High School Football, and I've never been more proud to be a Ford dealer. Participants had the chance to take a fun, casual drive in one of our vehicles, while lending out students and community a much-needed helping hand," said Todd Szott, General Manager at Szott Ford.

"This was the perfect time for this event. We had a huge turnout due to all of the school functions going on that night and we had a very meaningful game scheduled. The community really came together to make this a very special and successful night. What Szott Ford did is a blessing for our students, and it says a lot about who they are as a company," said Jeremy Barkey, US History/Economics teacher and varsity football coach at Holly High School. The money raised from this event will help purchase equipment, new uniforms, practice gear, summer camp fees, travel expenses and everyday supplies.
