There sure is an awful lot to love about our large-and-in-charge utility vehicle, the completely redesigned 2016 Ford Explorer.
Just ask AutoGuide.com Road Test Editor, Mike Schlee.
He had plenty of great things to say about the new Explorer in his recent video review. Take a moment to hear him out:
If fuel economy is a priority, the new EcoBoost engine just may be the one for you. This turbo 2.3-liter four-cylinder, good for a hearty 270 horsepower and 300 pound-feet of torque, is expected to achieve 22 mpg combined in front-drive form and 21 mpg combined with the all-wheel option.
It's not easy to deliver that fusion of fun and frugality, yet Ford has seemingly cracked the code.
