One of the features of our favorite pickup, the Ford F-150, has been named the top honoree for the 2016 Consumer Electronics Show Best of Innovation Awards, in the Vehicle Intelligence category. We love coming across exciting news like this, so we knew we wanted share it with you.
As its name would imply, the system known as Pro Trailer Backup Assist makes reversing with an attached trailer a much less stressful experience. The feature allows for the programming of ten separate trailers. Once the information is loaded, all the driver has to do is turn a knob on the dash, and the truck takes over from there. Steering, braking, and acceleration are all automated.
