Since it was unveiled in January, the 2017 Ford SVT Raptor has created quite the buzz in the niche world of off-road performance trucks. Set to go on sale a year from now, the new truck is currently in the throes of rigorous testing to ensure it’s the best of the best. Recently, the Blue Oval shared some footage of the testing.
One aspect of the testing gauntlet is to get this truck dirty as possible. That's the subject of the video below, which sees the Raptor take to the woods and scaling some pretty mighty inclines. While we don't have the power numbers yet, it's quite reassuring to hear the meaty purr of the truck's new 3.5L twin-turbo EcoBoost V6.
