How to Make Blind Spots Safer on the Road

If you're like most drivers, you've had to deal with restrictive blind spots when changing lanes on the road. Thankfully, Ford has developed a new piece of technology called the Blind Spot Information System. This new system that comes with newer Ford vehicles gives the driver added information while driving, and reduces the risk of collision while switching lanes.

The Blind Spot Information System, or "BLIS," warns drivers when they are in danger of a collision. By using advanced sensors that detect objects in your blind spots, you can rest assured that you will never be caught off guard by a horn blaring as you attempt to change lanes.

While the BLIS can't replace good driver awareness, it can reduce the risk of collisions on your daily commute. If you are interested in learning about BLIS or other new technology developed by Ford, contact Szott Ford in Holly for more information.
