Ford And Sirius Turn Profits

Ford has made huge strides with their automotive technology. From the EcoBoost engine (available on Ford Explorer), to Bluetooth integration, this auto maker has made saving energy and fun driving a priority.

Implementing various "infotainment" systems into their new cars and trucks at Szott Ford in Holly, MI shows how the company successfully tapped the youth market, which they so heavily battled competition for. Adding SiriusXM to a Ford makes the resale price of that

Ford Transforms Focus Test Drive

If you're like most car buyers, you think of test drives more of a chore than a fun way to spend your Saturday afternoon. We don't blame you. But, what if it was more like a game...specifically a video game, where you would compete against other drivers? Would you be more interested then?

Maybe it's just our competitive spirit guiding us, but we certainly would. That's why we were so psyched to learn that Ford has decided to create a video-game-like driving experience.

Don't worry, test-drivers (or players) are still able to scrutinize vehicle…

Ford Develops New 3-Cylinder Engine

Allow us to introduce an innovative new engine from Ford. It's a three-cylinder equipped with EcoBoost and offers only 1.0-liter fuel capacity.

Anything jump out at you? Likely that it carries only 1.0-liter of fuel, right? That's incredibly tiny. It is, in fact, the smallest engine Ford has ever designed.

Anything else? Probably not. Rather, you're likely thinking, "great, a low-energy, three-cylinder - that'll be fun." We don't blame you. This is one engine you can't judge solely by its cylinders.

While the 1.0-liter EcoBoost three-cylinder engine is extremely fuel efficient, it…

Ford Puts Old Stereotype to Rest

Ford Old Stereotype to Rest

Even those of us who have a penchant for Ford, can admit that in the past, the American automaker did not have the best reputation or brand image. People often referred to Ford cars and trucks as "Found Dead on the Road" or "Fix or Repair Daily". The point is: that was then, this is now.

Over the past few years Ford has undergone many evolutions, shedding the imperfections which served to fuel such childish nicknames for an image of trust, coolness, quality, reliability, and fuel economy. The proof is in sales, the awards, and Forbes' 2011 Worst Cars on the Road list.

The 2011 Worst Cars on the Road list, you say? Why would we mention such unflattering list? Certainly not because Ford is on it - rather the reason is we're bringing it up is for Fords absence.

What makes this such a significant accomplishment is the fact that most all of the cars on the list are American made. This serves to sets Ford apart from its closest competitors.  Not to mention, the fact that even a few "higher-end imports"  made the list, speaks volumes as well.

To determine their 2011 Worst Cars on the Road list, Forbes magazine reviewed the lowest-rated vehicles from six reliability and performance studies conducted by Consumer Reports, this year. Any vehicle named among the worst in at least two of those studies is featured.
