New Ford Focus EV... to Exceed 100 MPG

Now that many automakers have EV in their line-up, the new competition seems to be about building the most fuel-efficient electric car. And, Szott Ford, has one idea of who will do that: Ford Motors.

The Blue Oval has started producing an all-new Ford Focus EV, which is already available for preorder in select markets across the U.S, with deliveries slated to begin next year. According to Ford, it will be the first EV to exceed the 100 mpg-e mark.

The American automaker also claims that its future CUV range dubbed Ford C-MAX will surpass its competitors' MPG-e ratings as well. And that's not all in addition Ford is also giving it a leg-up with a new milestone charging time. More specifically Ford alleges the Focus EV can be charged in half the time it takes the LEAF.

So to summarize we are talking about leading fuel economy and super-fast charging time. Seems like the Ford Focus EV is the best option to end to reduce drivers need for gas pumps and do their part to preserve the world for generations to come.
