All New Grille
The new face of the Taurus gives it a bold, heroic look. A new feature of the newly designed grille are the Active Grille Shutters, available on the SE, SEL and Limited. These active grille shutters automatically close to improve efficiency and to make the Taurus more resistant to wind. Quiet, Spacious Interior

MyFord Touch

Standard on the All New Taurus is a upgraded sound absorption package. Keeping unwanted noise out of the spacious interior is a dash insulator for improved coverage and higher loft, shock towers wrapped with sound absorbing material, acoustic absorbing front wheel liners and internal engine revisions that reduce timing chain noise. Available on the SHO is the true dual exhaust that helps improve powertrain sound on the 3.5L EcoBoost V6 engine.

Available in the New Taurus is the SYNC with MyFord Touch. Easily customize your driving experience by selecting your display preferences for the two colorful LCD screens in the instrument cluster. Use voice commands and touch controls on the steering wheel to keep your eyes focused on the road ahead. MyFord Touch allows for hands-free phone calls, turn-by-turn directions, voice controlled climate controls and radio controls, get traffic alerts and much more.

Active Park Assist and Rear View Camera	BLIS with Cross-Traffic Alert
Active Park Assist, unlike other imaging devices, uses ultrasonic sensors. Once activated, your Taurus will parallel park itself with only minimal involvement by you. Also available is a rear view camera that provides, on the 8" touch screen, a video image of the area behind your vehicle. When shifting into reverse, this system is activated automatically. The rear view camera provides a clear visual image of objects behind your Taurus as you are backing up.	Available for the Taurus is the Blind Spot Information System with cross-traffic alert. this is yet another great feature from Ford to enhance your driving experience. An indicator light appears in the outside mirror when a vehicle is detected in your blind-spot zone. The cross-traffic alert uses technology from the blind-spot monitoring sensors and alerts you both audibly and visually when a vehicle is detected while you're backing out of a parking spot or your driveway. BLIS is optional on the Taurus Limited and SHO models.

Voice-Activated Navigation
Available for the Taurus is Ford's voice-activated Navigation System with available integrated Sirius Traffic and Sirius Travel Link. Providing turn-by-turn directions, this system gives you the choices of a fastest route, shortest route and EcoRoute. While using EcoRoute, the most fuel-efficient route is determined by the Navigation System. Featuring a colorful 3-D view, the Navigation System provides points of interest and the last destinations you entered into the system. Continuously updating traffic information, providing you with current and forecast weather, gas station locations and prices, live sports scores and schedules and theater locations with movie listings and times. Complimentary six-month trial subscription is included with Sirius Traffic and Sirius Travel Link.
